Moneyed Up Monday – 9 lives
It’s only the third week of Moneyed Up Monday and I’m already breaking my own rule of limiting the feature to seven posts. I can’t help it though, I have nine great posts that I want to share with the moneyed readers out there. I was lucky find this weeks photo though to say with the up theme.

1. Buying and selling blogs
I’m a big believer in running a blog as a small business. In this guest post on Financial Samurai, Mike talks about how he values a blog before he buys it and explains the typical return he expects to get on his investment.
2. Salary vs. Discretionary Income
Everyone talks about what they make. I’m even guilty of thinking about my financial state based on my salary. I think its a natural thing to do in America. MoneyNing makes a case for why our discretionary income gives us a better view into our financial situation than salary alone.
3. 24 Legit home based business ideas
ChristianPF gives us 24 ways that we can earn supplemental income from home. There are so many ways to earn extra income these days and Bob highlights a few that are a growing trend.
4. Will the Bush tax cuts be extended?
This is on my mind constantly because one of my online businesses will be greatly impacted by the expiration of the tax cuts. Peter makes a case for why they are likely to be extended, but will they be extended for everyone?
5. What are leading economic indicators?
You may hear that phrase used a lot on cnbc or any other money related show but do you know what the leading indicators are? Many people don’t. Jeff explains what they are and then lists out the latest info on some major indicators.
6. How to make your small business more successful
I liked Neal’s article because he is talking from personal experience. He explains that there are two different kinds of business owners and those that run their business based on their personality and relationships alone often fail.
7. Life Craziness
Good title that got my attention. I try to use my credit card for everything too because I know I will always pay it off every month. Which type of credit card user are you? There advantages to being like us.
8. Launching an online income stream with a partner
I’m a sucker for any blog post that talks about increasing your income, which should be fairly obvious by now. 20smoney lists out the advantages and disadvantages of using a partner to build a business online.
9. 5 growth stocks for young investors
When you’re young you should have a higher tolerance for risk in your portfolio. Focusing on growth is a great way to identify potential winners. Mark Riddix, an all star writer in my opinion (what’s up Mark!), explains why these 5 stocks could make you money.
There you have it. I appreciate all the comments from the featured bloggers. I’m looking forward to reading more of your great content.

3 Tips To Spend Less Each Month

Everyone likes talking about what they make? I like that bold statement! Perhaps you’d like to write a guest post on my site explaining that thesis with a conclusion! I for one don’t think many people like sharing that info at all!
Best,
Sam

Yeah you’re right Sam, I probably shouldn’t have used those exact words. I think I was just trying to say that we shouldn’t use our salary to gauge our financial health.
